Election of new SFC PLC members

Jo, John, and Hauke would like to step down from tour roles as Project Leadership Committee (PLC) representatives of OpenWrt to the Software Freedom Conservancy (SFC).

We previously announced our intention to do so on the mailing list [0].

We invited volunteers to join the PLC [1] and received several responses. Over the past few months, we have held discussions with the SFC and with community members who expressed interest in serving on the PLC.

At this time, we would like to expand the PLC to a larger group.

The following individuals have volunteered to serve as PLC members:

• Alexander Couzens (lynxis)
• Christian Marangi (ansuel)
• Daniel Golle (dangole)
• David Bauer (blocktrron)
• Jonas Gorski (jogo/KanjiMonster)
• Paul Spooren (aparcar)
• Robert Marko (robimarko)

The following current PLC members will step down:

• Jo-Philipp Wich (jow)
• John Crispin (blogic)
• Hauke Mehrtens (hauke)

We are hereby calling for an official vote on the following proposal:

To appoint the seven nominated individuals as the new OpenWrt PLC members to the SFC, and to accept the resignation of the three current PLC members listed above.

This vote concerns the proposed group as a whole; it is not a vote on individual candidates.
