Monetary donations

The OpenWrt project relies on volunteers globally and has recurring monthly infrastructure expenses. Those wishing to support the initiative can contribute financially.

The Software Freedom Conservancy manages all collected funds (minus transaction and maintenance fees) on behalf of the OpenWrt project, directing resources toward:

• Server infrastructure
• Trademark legal management
• Travel support for developer meetings

Hardware donations

Interested parties can propose hardware contributions by contacting developers through the OpenWrt forum or via the OpenWrt developer mailing list.
